Retired & Foundation

Here are some of the guinea pigs you'll see listed on our pedigrees. These members of the herd are no longer actively contributing to our lines. Some are happily retired here at our caviary, some have been placed in pet homes, and a few have gone on to the Rainbow Bridge.

Our Boars

Winston

Skinny pig, red broken with white. Winston came to us through Skinny Guinea Piggy (CA) from Margaret's Hairless Guinea Pigs (CA). His red is very dark and his personality is very sweet. He has strong dark genes and contributes to beautiful dark, and bi-color babies.

Flash

Skinny pig, pink eyed white. Sire of several of our carriers, Flash was the start of our breeding program and came from Sasha Kim's caviary (CA). He has a great temperament and loves lots of attention.

Sundae

Skinny pig, tortoise shell and white from Margaret's Hairless Guinea Pigs (CA). Sunday is the sire of some of our newest skinny babies!

Buckminster (Bucky)

Skinny pig, buff/creme solid (ticked). Sired by Sundae, his dam is Pebble. Bucky is a beautiful dark grey color with a little light-colored triangle on his forehead. He has big floppy ears and very minimal fur on his nose and feet.

Mr. Black

Skinny pig, self black. Sired by Winston, his dam is Pippa. Mr. Black is a gorgeous boy with rich, black skin.

Bare Bear

Skinny pig, Broken color black and white. Sired by Sundae, his dam is Oreo.

Brownie

Skinny pig, brindle from Margaret's Hairless (CA). Brownie is the sire of some of our carriers.

Ewoke

Skinny pig, brindle (black and red) through Spooky Scary Skinny Pigs (CA) and A&W Caviary (SD). Big, bold and expressive, Ewoke has very little fur and beautiful speckly markings.

Spooky Scary Skinny Pig's Erin Rain (from breeding loan)

Skinny pig, red and white Dalmatian from Spooky Scary Skinny Pigs (CA). Erin Rain is a beautiful red and Dalmatian with four dark feet and gorgeous spots!

Dexter

Skinny pig, black and white Dalmatian from Spooky Scary Skinny Pigs (CA). Dexter has four dark feet and lots of beautiful spots!

Johnnie

Skinny pig, black and white Dalmatian from Hairless Hilltop Hunks (IL). Johnnie is a stout bodied, short nosed Dalmatian with small spots.

Pongo

American Dalmatian (black and white) from Marilyn (CA). Pongo is a heavily spotted Dalmatian with beautiful belly spots.

Joe (No Neck Joe)

Joe is a tortoise shell and white boar from Jim Touchet (CA). He acts as a foster father to some of our young boars, will contribute to our carrier line, and is just a big snuggle-bug.

Our Sows

Ruby

Skinny pig, dark-eyed gold. Sired by Flash, her dam is Momo. Ruby is one of the first skinny babies born at Santa Barbara Skinny Pigs! She has beautiful skin and big black eyes!

Pippa (aka Seabiscuit)

Skinny pig, Self black. Her sire is Sundae and her dam is Heather. Pippa is a beatiful black color with just a little fur.

Peppermint Patty (aka Patty)

Skinny pig, Black broken with white. Her sire is Sundae and her dam is Oreo. She has a nice mix of black and white color, with a white spot inside her left ear, and a tiny black dot on her rear end.

Lily

Skinny pig, black broken with white, through A&W Caviary (SD). SB Skinny Pigs is Lily's fourth home (at least) and her last (forever) home. She is currently our largest skinny pig, weighing 950g! She is a big, bold and beautiful girl with an adventurous personality.

Toasted Marshmallow

Skinny pig, dark eyed white. Her sire is Winston and her dam is Etta (aka Minnie). Toasted Marshmallow is a beautiful girl with white fur and ashy grey skin!

Wednesday

Skinny pig, black broken with white, from A&W Caviary (SD). Wednesday is a beautiful girl with nice black and white patterning on her skin.

Mitzi

Skinny pig, black broken with white, from A&W Caviary (SD). Mitzi is all black with two little white mittens on her front feet. She has big tall ears and is a very curious guinea pig.

Charlston Chew

Skinny pig, tri-color roan. Chewy is an energetic, curious pig who likes to explore everything with her mouth.

Victoria

Skinny pig, Tortoiseshell & White from Hotel California Caviary (OR). Her sire is Hotel CA's Oliver and her dam is Hotel CA's Blondie. Victoria is a darling girl with beautiful tri-colored markings on her face, a white body and a dark rump.

Ivory

Skinny pig, red broken with white, from Spooky Scary Skinny Pigs (CA). Ivory has lovely markings and a dominant personality.

Black Beauty

Skinny pig, gold solid and one white sock (front left foot). Her sire is Sundae and her dam is Heather. Black Beauty has very little fur and beautiful dark skin.

Clara

Skinny pig, bi-color red and white from Margaret's Hairless (through Skinny Guinea Piggy) (CA). Clara is mostly white with a few nicely placed red spots. She's a bold and curious guinea pig.

Etta (aka Minnie)

Skinny pig, roan black and white (speckled pattern). Her sire is Sundae and her dam is Shadow. She's a sweet, gentle guinea pig.

Cocomo

Skinny pig, brindle with a few specks of white from Spooky Scary Skinny Pigs (CA). Cocomo is a big, dominant guinea pig. She is sweet to people but won't take any slack from the other guinea pigs!

Luna

Skinny pig, Tortoiseshell & White from Margaret's Hairless (through Skinny Guinea Piggy) (CA). Luna's red skin is nearly black and she has a very sweet and shy personality.

Liberty

Skinny pig, self black from A&W Caviary (NE). Liberty is a beautiful solid black guinea pig.

Hannah

Skinny pig, black and white Dalmatian from Raven's Heart Caviary (SC). Hannah doesn't have dark feet but she has pretty back spots!

Baldwin, tortoiseshell white from Hairless Hilltop Hunks (IL). Pippa is a beautiful, chunky girl with a bold personality.

Skinny carrier, dark eyed white. Born 08-09-2016, her dam is Lacy and her sire is Buckminster. Marshmallow is a lovely girl with white fur and dark eyes.

Whisper

Skinny carrier, dark eyed white. Born 02-26-2017, her dam is Lacy and her sire is Buckminster. Marshmallow is a lovely girl with white fur and dark eyes.

Figgy Pudding

Skinny carrier, tortoiseshell white. Her sire is Ewoke and her dam is Blondie. Figgy Pudding has very pretty patterning and soft fur.

Sweet Potato

Skinny carrier, self red with a little white from Hotel California Caviary (OR). Her sire is Hotel CA's Mr Pinkie Pinkerton and her dam is Hotel CA's Rusty. Sweet Potato is a soft, friendly girl.

Bon Bon

Skinny carrier, Dutch (black and white). Her sire is Bare Bear and her dam is Chocolate Chip. She is a sweet mom who produces lovely babies.

Tootsie

Skinny carrier, Dutch (black and white). Her sire is Bare Bear and her dam is Chocolate Chip. She is a sweet mom with beautiful, soft fur.

Anna A'la Mode

White-crested American skinny carrier, chocolate broken with gold (and two white feet) from Cavyland Cuties (CA). Anna is a sweet little guinea pig with soft fur and a little crest.

Chestnut Starlet

Skinny carrier, White crested American, dark eyed gold from Hotel California Caviary (OR). Her sire is Hotel CA's Mr Pinkie Pinkerton and her dam is Hotel CA's Cinnamon. Chestnut Starlet has a beautiful dark gold coat and a face like a chubby little chipmunk! She has a cute little white crest and is a very snuggly girl.

Rocky Road

Skinny carrier, TSW, slightly Teddy fur. Rocky Road's sire is Sundae and her dam is Rainstorm.

Piñata

Skinny carrier, black and white roan. Her sire is Pongo and her dam is Wednesday. Piñata is a lovely little girl with belly spots and more roaning than spotting on her back but we're hoping she'll help us produce Dalmatian babies.

Pinova

Skinny carrier, self black. Her sire is Pongo and her dam is Wednesday. Pinova is a beautiful black guinea pig.

Caramel Ribbon Chocolate Fudge

Skinny carrier, ticked-gold & gold. Caramel Ribbon has a smaller gold belt and dark/gold ticked fur above and below. Her sire is No Neck Joe and her dam is Ruby.

Twizzler

Abyssinian skinny carrier, black. Twizzler's sire is Bare Bear and her dam is Blondie.

Infinite Twilight

American skinny carrier, self black. Infinite Twilight's sire is Bare Bear and her dam is Midnight.

Winters Night

American skinny carrier, self black 1/2 white sock and some white toenails. Winter Night's sire is Bare Bear and her dam is Midnight.

Jules

Skinny carrier, self black from Hairless Hilltop Hunks (IL). Jules is a beautiful little girl with jet black fur.

Sweetheart

Skinny carrier, crested sable solid. Her sire is Buckminster and her dam is Lacy.

Rainstorm

American skinny carrier, silver solid. Rainstorm is one of Minky's granddaughters, her sire is Flash. She is Pebble's sister.

Heather

American skinny carrier, silver solid. Heather is our fourth Minky granddaughter, her sire is Flash. She is Shadow's sister.

Crested skinny carrier, dark-eyed gold. Summer's sire is Flash and her dam is Momo. Penny is her sister.

Blondie

Abyssinian/Teddy skinny carrier, bi-color buff and golden agouti. Her sire is Brownie and her dam was a golden agouti abyssinian.

Chocolate Chip

American skinny carrier, tri-color. Chocolate Chip's sire is Sundae and her dam is Spooky. She must have some dutch in her, as her first three babies all had dutch markings!

Butterscotch

American skinny carrier, gold and white. Butterscotch's sire is Sundae and her dam is Spooky. She gives us great TSW babies!

Sugar & Spice

Tortoise shell & White from Jim Touchet (CA). Sugar and Spice are part of our TSW skinny program. They are half-sisters.

Midnight

American self black from Jim Touchet (CA). Midnight was brought into the breeding program to enhance our black skinned beauties and help with Dalmation lines.

Licorice

American skinny carrier, self black from Laura Paxton (CA). The dam of some of our carriers, her sire is Flash. She is Oreo's sister.

Oreo

American skinny carrier, golden solid broken with white from Laura Paxton (CA). Her sire is Flash. Licorice is her sister.

Shadow

American skinny carrier, silver solid. Shadow is our third Minky granddaughter, her sire is Flash. She is Heather's sister.

Pebble

American skinny carrier, silver solid. Pebble is another Minky granddaughter, her sire is Flash. She is Rainstorm's sister.

Spooky

Satin, tortoiseshell and white from Jim Touchet (CA). Spooky is helping us produce beautifully patterned tortoiseshell and white babies!

Momo

White crested dark-eyed gold from Jim Touchet (CA). Dam of carriers Summer and Penny. Momo is a wonderful mother with a fantastic temperament. Several of her babies have become classroom and family pets.

the Mini Minkies

Shown here with their dam, Minky. The Mini Minkies look just like their mom and brother Moo. All three babies spent time as classroom pets before going home with their new families. The girls each had one litter for us, they are the dams of all our silver solid carriers. Sire was show quality silver solid boar, bred to Minky prior to her coming to our caviary.
